This vintage TWA (Trans World Airlines) model is made of painted aluminum and is about 7 1/2" tall and 11" long. It is mounted on a stand with an ashtray on the base. It is a desk top model made by Riffe Models. This is a jet transport plane, from 1959 to 1962 and is marked Convair 880 on the side. Only 65 Convair 880s narrow-body jet liners were produced. It is in very good condition, but is missing an engine, as seen in the pictures.
